Hamachi 2.2.0.58 [x86] [hald7]

Hamachi is an easy-to-use application that will allow users to create and manage virtual private networks. For example, if your computer is connected to the Internet through the Sharing or Broadband Router, you will usually not be able to access it, say, from your office. Installing Hamachi on both computers and clicking a few buttons you can connect them immediately and safely. Now you can browse through file sharing, run remote desktop or even host a multiplayer game on one computer and register in another. Just as if they were connected by a physical cable. Hamachi is a networking technology that enables two computers on the Internet to talk directly to one another, regardless of the presence of firewalls or address settings of devices in the path between them. Most interesting Hamachi enables peer-to-peer communications between two computers reside behind two different connection sharing devices. In geek language - it allows for bidirectional NAT. Peer to peer connection becomes possible with the help of Hamachi servers that mediate the establishment of an initial contact between peers. Once pairs connect the traffic starts to flow directly between them. This not only ensures that data travels the best way possible, but it also minimizes latent (ping time) and maximizes transfer speeds. Hamachi is secure. All Hamachi communications are encrypted and authenticated using industry-standard algorithms and protocols. No one will be able to see what two Hamachi peers are talking about. But what is more important - Hamachi security architecture is completely open meaning that its detailed description is available for review to anyone interested.
